WORK: I’m the owner/designer for Taylor Moseley – a jewelry company I started in 2009. My artistic inspiration comes from my own desire for high quality investment pieces that have a touch of luxe, but are also versatile, effortless, and easy to wear. I love business & art, so this is truly the perfect job for me. Work posts include new jewelry styles, recent press, inspirational photos, my new boutiques, sales, and upcoming events.
FASHION: I’m style obsessed and have been since I was very young. I try to stay up-to-date and as current as possible on everything industry-related. My style posts include items on my wardrobe wishlist and advice on how to wear them. I love to share style tips, wardrobe secrets, trends, & how-to tidbits. Dressing your body type is the #1 most important style tip I can offer you.
HOME: Your home is like a springboard from which you jump off of and into life! When your home is strong, life’s possibilities are limitless. Your home is a reflection of your style, and an outlet for your creativity. It should be a safe place you can come to when you need to escape this crazy, hectic life. My home related posts center on decorating, style tips, shopping, how-to’s, art, interior design, and fixing up our new pad.
TRAVEL: In march 2011, Lary and I started a 1-year RV trip out west to travel, sight-see, and expand Taylor Moseley Jewelry. As of 2012, we’ll continue our travels throughout Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and the surrounding areas on the weekends, exploring new places and sharing our experiences! I also have a flickr account on the right side of my blog where I upload daily photos.
ABOUT ME: My name is Allison Taylor. I am 33 years old, married to the love of my life, and we have a 3-year-old whippet puppy that we adore. We live in Austin, TX. Originally from Atlanta, GA, I moved to Austin, TX 7 years ago after college graduation. Austin is my home. Nothing beats the easy-going lifestyle and the unpretentious, real people! I’ve met amazing friends and made wonderful memories here. The only thing I would change is to be closer to the beach.

**People always ask my this—> Where does the name Taylor Moseley comes from? Upon starting my company I knew there was another designer out there with the name Allison Taylor (you might find her name on the back of your shirt tag, actually). So, to avoid confusion, I combined my last name (Moseley) + my maiden name (Taylor): Taylor Moseley. Voilà!
