My Latest Wardrobe Purchase: Anthropology Swimsuit
I’ve never worn a one piece. Even as a child, I wore a bikini. But, this has my name all over it. Today I purchased this one-piece swimsuit from Anthropology.
And here are some other pieces I like:
This piece has a lot of coverage, but the patterned stripes and vibrant colors are fresh and playful…
I love the pattern on this, and straps are optional…
This deep V neckline adds sex appeal..
All the tailoring in this piece makes it flattering on a number of body types, especially pear and hourglass…
The ruffle adds some volume to the top, great for a small bust or pear shape…
The strapless bustier thing going on here is awesome… And, I love the slimming effect that the pattern creates… This is great for a lot of body types, but especially apple shapes. (Straps come with it.)
If you just cant stay away from black…. ruffles add femininity and a drawstring belt is slimming…
Va Va Voom! Hello Deep V neckline… Great for inverted triangles and pear shapes…

Latest Wardrobe Purchase {Kantha Tote Bag}
Hello everyone- check out my new bag! I’ve been super inspired by bold colors & exotic prints these days. Textiles from India are renowned for their vibrant colors, patterns, & stitching- and this one doesn’t disappoint. This tote adds instant exotic flair! Handmade in India, its 100% unique because each one is is made with vintage reclaimed cotton. Leather handles and a silk lining gives it that touch of luxe & quality I love.
Kantha is a type of embroidery popular in Bangladesh and in West Bengal, India.

I got this for a steal: It retails for $320, and I only paid $99. I found it on One Kings Lane. What do you think about bold colors and exotic prints for this spring and summer?

Don’t flunk, “Fail”!
I came across these bracelets and had to share. They are by Fail, a jewelry company based out of Austin, TX.
They come in oxidized silver and brass (shown). As you can see, there are 3 sizes: thin, medium, thick. You can buy/browse here.
I love the organic feel they have. I’d pair them with everything I own.
How would you style these?
Check out my interview with “Stylehouse 512″…
I had the pleasure of meeting Abby Schultz & Molly Bayerdorffer at Le Garage Sale. They run a stylist & home organization business here in Austin, TX. Zara Clothing Film {Could you live this life?}
Calming, beautiful, and mesmerizing, I came across this 6 minute film directed by The Selby and had to share…If you aren’t already a fan of Zara Clothing, you might be after watching this short video. “The Selby” follows stylish Lucy Chadwick (an art gallarist in NYC) as she travels from the city to the country in several Zara outfits.
What grabbed me most about this film is the way Lucy’s home is decorated. I’ve always wanted to decorate my home like an art gallery with white walls and simple, clean features that highlight the special pieces I have collected over my life. I also love the message she conveys about taking time to concentrate on what you are actually doing. – A special thanks to Simple Lovely for featuring this on her blog so that I can share it with you.
